Well ol' Skippy finally picked a game right last week. Even a blind chipmunk sniffs his ass sometimes. Pretty sure that's how the saying goes. Anyway, Skip's huge lock of the week (picking the #1 team in the country - way to go out on a limb Skip) ended up winning by only a TD and FSU had the chance to tie it at the end.

Well, don't get used to that, because Skip sucks ass and even when he picks the best team in the country he barely eeks out a win.

Since he doesn't tweet much anymore, I've taken to taping his First and 10 show on Saturday mornings on ESPNU. This Tivo thing that I have might be useful after all. There's a goldmine of picks on this show that I never even knew existed. He gives exact scores, making it easier to make these picks. Plus I can fast forward through his jibberish. On to the picks for today...and there are lots of them. The scores in bold are Skip's predictions.

How is that even possible? I mean everyone has off an off day once in a while, but this clown is ridiculous. As you can see from my bets and earlier post, Skip picked every game wrong. Not just a few, EVERY single NFL game he picked, he got wrong.

This proves the authenticity of the system. Now realistically he's not going to get every single game wrong this year (although if anyone could do it, I think he could), but we're off to a great start so far.

Sunday's games put me at 4-0 on the season, winning just a little under $200 in only Week 1 of the NFL season. I have a feeling it's going to be a very profitable gambling season.

So Skip was wrong as always on Thursday, starting the season off on a positive note. It really is amazing how awful he is at everything in life. I'm sure he picked a million college games wrong yesterday but I was too drunk to wake up early enough to watch his horrible show.

Luckily, he picked a few NFL games on Friday so here we go.

And that means more money to be made by the awfulness of Skip Bayless. Yes, I say every few months that I'll keep this site up to date but the only thing worse than Skip's predictions is my laziness. Merril Hoge comes close. And the Redskins. And really small dogs. But Skip is the worst of all.

But, I do love money, and I do love football, so let's do this again. Made a pretty nice profit last year, I'm sure this year will be just as good. It's mother fuckin science. Just a reminder, I'm using Bodog to place bets, so whatever their lines are is what I have to roll with. Anyway, I hate keeping a money tied up in an NBA playoff series, as they take about 3 months each, but it should be worth it. Bodog has Dallas at an even -200, which I would normally not bother betting on. But for this, I'll suck it up. $200 on Dallas pays out an easy $100.

EDIT: 9/8/2011 - I'm cleaning the slate and starting fresh for the NFL season 2011. Wasn't sure where to put the three NBA bets I made using the system. I went 3-0 and made 188.93, making my grand total $381.06 on the year. Not bad at all.

So I kinda fell off the radar with this toward the end of the year, so I'm going to start over for 2011. Basically I only bet on football games in 2010, but I have a feeling Skip is just as bad at picking all of the major sports.

Final results are below:

Skip's Record: 8-28
Not good.

My Record: 24-12
This may not make sense, as you would think it would be exactly opposite of Skip's record (28-8). But even with input from Skip there were 4 games which he picked incorrectly but, because of the large spread, I got wrong. Still a pretty good winning percentage though (78%).

Total winnings: $381.06
Not amazing but some of my bigger bets were the few losing ones, giving me nearly $400 on the year. Which I'm sure I dropped on 2 hands of blackjack at some point.

Overall the system worked pretty well, and I plan to make larger wagers in 2011. Here's to a profitable year and Skip sucks ass.

By picking games that are exactly on par with the Vegas odds, like he did today and has been doing often recently, he's really testing the system. But I'm still winning. That's how horrible this dude is at calling games.

If I was betting by my gut instincts I would have went Chicago +2 and the over, because picking a winner plus points and the under is always tricky. Lots of different things have to happen. Plus I hate betting the under, it means you're asking for a boring game.* But that's why the system is amazing. He rarely lets me down.

* I don't care what "purist" football fans say. I love football as much as anyone, but great defense (other than massive, bone-crushing hits) is not fun to watch. i want to see touchdown after touchdown and cheerleaders showing their boobies.

That also puts Skip at 8-25 on games I've bet against him on. MIND BOTTLING.

Skip is obviously looking at lines now before making picks, because let's face it, he is not nearly as smart as the oddsmakers. Earlier today, the line was Miami -1 and O/U 41, making both picks a push and therefore ruining my system. NICE TRY SKIP BUT YOU WILL NOT BEAT ME. Luckily, I waited just long enough for the spreads to move the tiniest bit. (I really hope he doesn't know they continuously change.) Ten minutes before game time, the points are now Miami -2 and the O/U went down to 40 1/2.

I personally think it'll be a Chicago rout but this isn't about what I think. A $20 parlay on Chicago +2 and U 40 1/2 pays out $54.55.

NCAA picks: Me: 3-1, Skip: Still Douchey

This weekend is an example of why gambling is so retarded. Amazing and fun and addicting, but retarded. Skip was actually right about the PSU-OSU game, and was only off by 10 points. Which for him is pretty much unheard of. But I still won my bet because I used his scores to do the O/U instead of a winner.

The point is that there are several ways to use the stupidity of Skip Bayless to your advantage. He will, VERY RARELY, call a game correctly. In those instances when you get that gut feeling that he just might luck out, go with the O/U and not a winning team. My scientific calculations predict your success rate at 216%. He will never get both of these right. Unless he does, but that has happened maybe once this year*.

As creepy, eagle-eyed commenter ajseagles pointed out, I went with Clemson yesterday by mistake. True. Skip picked Florida St. by one and the spread was six. My bad. To stay true to the system I should have went with the Moneyline. But I won anyway so Skip and ajseagles can eat it. As long as you get it in your mind to go against what Skip Bayless says, good things happen. Run tell dat homeboy.

Yes, he technically got one other game right. He picked Alabama at 13-10. The final score was 30-10. I could give a piece of paper to a dead monkey and he would get closer than this once in a while. (I would never kill my monkey). Also, there is nothing good about anything regarding Mississippi, except that it is fun to say.

Now for a little bragging. I believe my prediction was "South Carolina +7 over Florida. Marcus Lattimore is gonna run all over them. $25 pays out $21.74." As you can see from the graphic to the right, I AM GOD AND YOU SHOULD ALL BOW DOWN TO ME.

Skip's Best College Weekend Ever is Still a Steamy Pile of Shit

So I came out down for only the second weekend this season, but it's not because Skip was anywhere near close to picking any of these games. Dumb shit just happens sometimes, like Skip getting a job on TV. Let's take at look at his blowout prediction...he picked Nebraska to beat Iowa St. 45-7. Actual final score...

So technically, yes, he picked the winner of the game, but you would have won had you picked Iowa St. and the points. Fuck Skip.

Then he goes ahead and picks two close games, Oklahoma St. 43-Baylor 40 and TCU 27-Utah 24. Actual scores...

Again, he technically picked both of these teams but he was nowhere near being right. Basically he has no fucking clue what he's talking about.

Even when he's right about a close game like he was when picking Illinois over Michigan by 1, he picked the wrong team and was OFF BY 60+ POINTS. What a professional loser.

He also picked South Carolina over Arkansas and they lost by over 3 touchdowns. Vintage Skip right there. Plus he picked LSU in the upset, and now that I think about it, he picks LSU every week. So they're out of the system.

All in all Mr. Dickbag got very lucky in that he picked the winner in most of the games, but there were plenty of ways to make money by using the system. With the spreads and especially the O/Us, which he was way off on, it could have been a lucrative weekend. I just had bad luck and picked the wrong games.Luck of the Irish my ass.

So Skip made a bunch of as-vague-as-you-can-get predictions today, not actually picking anyone outright but just giving his thoughts. Well his awful thoughts and passive aggressive opinions are good enough for me. I'm going for it.

First off...my Birds. Now I am a really big gambler. Like I play with an amount that would make most people sick. And ruin lives if I were married and sharing a bank account. But I never, EVER, bet on my own team. Just seems like bad karma. However...

I've also had five Tanqueray and tonics this afternoon but that's neither here nor there.

WAIT...the Eagles are favored by 3. That makes no fucking sense at all. I love them more than I love babies (not hard) but I don't see why that would be. Regardless, in honor of the system I will go against all of my rules (never betting on my team is my only rule), I'm going to go all out.

Not a horrible weekend but not great one either. I said the Auburn-LSU game would be tight and I was right, won by one point. Skip lost by one. That's the way it's supposed to happen.

He picked the Missouri upset, but he picks against Oklahoma every week. Eventually he was going to be right. Last weekend was that one time. Dick.

Sneaky Skip pretended he was picking three upsets in the NFL when in actuality he picked 3 favorites to win. Which fucks with the system big time. Luckily he's that bad and I went 2-1.

I lost Minny-GB by one point and I will never bet on anything Favre-related again. Although this weekend he'll most likely be jerking off at home in his Crocs and not playing, so MIN is still on the radar for now.

I won the Giants game because...ha ha Cowboys. It's an amazing feeling watching them fall apart at the seams.

Well Skip went 1-2, with the two teams he picked to win by 14 losing, and the game which he thought would be close was a blowout. This is a typical weekend for our lovable shithead. Also, he's not lovable.

For any newbie gamblers, a .667 winning percentage is wonderful. And when you bet against Skip, your percentage will normally be even higher. As of today, he is 4-12 with his picks. After a quick calculation in my head, I can say that makes him a fuckwad.

It was almost a perfect weekend, Texas was blowing shit up, Ohio St. got upset, and I was well on my way to Arkansas covering the spread when the 4th quarter started. I left my house to go the Phillies bar in DC with about 14 minutes left and Arkansas up 43-37. Somehow in the 20 minutes it takes me to walk there, Auburn scored 28 points. How the shit does that happen? The only thing that prevented a perfect gambling weekend for me was the injury of that huge freak Ryan Mallett.

Anyway, that garbage Auburn 4th quarter aside, these games were a good indication of how bad Skip is and how easy it is to pick games by doing the exact opposite of what he says.

In conclusion, Skip Bayless can eat a bag of dicks. Also, Tim Lincecum is a shitface. Seriously, just look at this guy.

Nebraska is favored by 10 over Texas, so this one's a little easier. $25 on Texas +10 pays out $22.73. When does Texas ever get 10 points?

Arkansas is actually getting points against Auburn, so $25 on Arkansas +3 1/2 pays out $21.74.

Just to make it an even $100 on the system, I put down a 3-team parlay with these same bets. $25 pays out $141.82.

And he was still wrong again this week but once again my greed to go for the 3.5x parlay over a regular bet is what did me in. So I decided to go on a spur of the moment week-long drinking binge which took me to the Chesapeake Bay, Seattle, and then back to DC just in time to watch the Phillies clinch the National East in person. Amazing times. As my brain cells regenerate and I look back at Skip's picks for the previous weekend, I see lots of money was to be made.

Now I'm not sure what the spreads were, but suffice it to say it was not more than 8 either way and picking the Jets and the over would have been a great parlay move. Next up, and these are my favorite...when he goes back weeks and months to pull out a prediction that still turns out to be wrong.

So...Alabama won the title last year...and they look even better than that this year...yet he's sticking with them losing to Arkansas. It's SCIENCE people! Of course they lost...but it wasn't a blowout, so I guess that's good for him. Next is just vintage Skip...no explanation necessary. The following prediction and final score is the prototype for this system.

Well I've spent enough time on this today with no money riding on anything, but it looks like it was a bad week to miss. He did pick the Cowboys to win, which they did, but he has a raging hard on for them and picks them every week. Don't go with Dallas on this system because of course they will eventually win. Unfortunately.

Even a blind dog gets the worm sometimes, right? Pretty sure that's how the saying goes. Anyway, the system was not perfect this week, as Skip got one prediction right. (1 for 6 on the season)

But the more important thing here is that Skip was still mostly wrong and it was my greed that cost me one of the bets. First to the anomaly...

OK, everyone gets lucky sometimes. You will see as the season progresses that this will not happen often. It's still called gambling though. Lost $25.

Next up is where I got greedy. As you can see though, Skip was still wrong in his prediction. And really, me winning bets comes in a distant second place to pointing out how horrible Mr. Bayless is at his job. Although he was close, he was still WRONG.

This is where my lack of respect for this guy clouded my judgment. But in case I haven't said it yet, he was still wrong. Lost $30.

Last but not least is the winner, the way these things will go more often than not. By simply betting the opposite of what Skip says, you'll more often than not win. He picked New England by 3.

Had the spread not made it a push, I probably would have went Jets and the over and had a big parlay payout, however I had to settle for just the over. Won $45.25.

So...overall I was 1-2, which is not great, but I only lost less than $10. (-$9.75) Skip was still 1-2, which is what's important. Thanks for reading and please register your disgust with this man to whoever is closest to you at this exact moment.

The wait is over and Skip is at it again. I log in to Twitter, check my "douchebags" list, which consists of only Skip Bayless and Sarah Palin, and see that Mr. Bayless has dropped some knowledge on us yet again. First up...

I'd love to bet on the winner of this game but the spread is +3 for the Jets, which makes this a push. So...I'm going to go with the O/U, which is 38 1/2 on Bodog. Since Skip's prediction is 35, I'm going to put $50 on the over. Possible payout - $45.25.

Next up...

Baltimore is only favored by 3 in the game, so it makes me a little nervous that this prediction is close to what the oddsmakers think. Because of that, I'm only going to drop $25 on this game, which pays exactly $25. I'll take it.

Last but not least is this NCAA head scratcher...

Now I'm assuming this is a joke because I don't even think Skip is this dumb, but I'll bite, just to show how well the system works. The spread is Oklahoma by 17, so if they win that means that, at a minimum, Skip is off by 21 points. Pushing my luck? Maybe. But probably not. $30 on Oklahoma -17 pays out a nice $27.17.

What a great Saturday for college football, so many good games to pick from. Luckily for me, Skip made predictions on 3 of these games. I’m going to bet on two to start with.

First great option of the day: When Skip calls a blowout like the one here, it will almost always go directly the opposite. I’m going Oklahoma on this one.

On a $50 bet, I took Oklahoma -7. Possible (but likely) payout = $53.

The other option that I like a lot is his prediction of the Michigan-Notre Dame Game.

Since Michigan will obviously win this, the Bodog spread of Michigan +4 is just icing on the cake. Just to make it interesting, I parlayed that bet with the under.

Using Bodog, the payout on a $50 parlay bet of Michigan +4 and Under 53 pays out $118.88.

Wish me luck…not that I need it. I'll update my winnings on Monday.

The fact that an awful human being, wrong about everything in sports, can make a very nice living talking about sports, is one of the reasons America is so great. Conversely, this also subjects the American viewing public to the horrible predictions and general douchebaggery of one Mr. Skip Bayless.

As a self-loathing follower of his Twitter feed, it has recently begun to sink in just how bad this so-called “expert” is at predicting scores. So, combining my entrepreneurial spirit with my serious gambling addiction, I’ve come up with a can’t-miss system to make money. And I will share my knowledge with you. It just seems fair that something good should out of this man’s ability to be so wrong, so often. And that something good will be cold hard cash in my pocket.
