I'm late in posting this but I made this bet from the bar on my phone last Friday.
$50 on Boston +3 (?? I'm not sure why either) paid out $45.45.
Also looks like the Mavs might end up pulling this series out.

The System is Perfect
It was a little too close for comfort, but my first pick of the year was a winner. It just goes to show you that Skip's inability to pick games trumps any kind of gut instinct you may have.
Only won by 1/2 a point, but a win is a win. $43.48. Let's keep it up douchebag.

More NBA Playoff Picks
Skip has a ridiculous, yet most likely tiny, boner for the NBA playoffs. I also love the NBA playoffs. As much as I don't think the Pacers can win, I'm going to work the system.
$50 on the Pacers +4 1/2 pays out $43.48. Boom.

Happy 420 Day
In remembrance of this lovely holiday, here is a Tweet from Skip today, epitomizing in 140 characters or less, why he is such a douchebag.
So as long as many things happen every single game, the Mavs will win. Genius. Also, he picked the Blazers just a few days ago.

First Bet of 2011: Blazers-Mavs Series
This will be the Reverse Bayless Gambling System's first foray into futures betting, but I'm confident it will still work. And this prediction is prototype Skip. Make a pick but then back it up with an excuse about why you might lose.
Anyway, I hate keeping a money tied up in an NBA playoff series, as they take about 3 months each, but it should be worth it. Bodog has Dallas at an even -200, which I would normally not bother betting on. But for this, I'll suck it up. $200 on Dallas pays out an easy $100.
Final 2010 Results
EDIT: 9/8/2011 - I'm cleaning the slate and starting fresh for the NFL season 2011. Wasn't sure where to put the three NBA bets I made using the system. I went 3-0 and made 188.93, making my grand total $381.06 on the year. Not bad at all.
So I kinda fell off the radar with this toward the end of the year, so I'm going to start over for 2011. Basically I only bet on football games in 2010, but I have a feeling Skip is just as bad at picking all of the major sports.
Final results are below:
Skip's Record: 8-28
Not good.
My Record: 24-12
This may not make sense, as you would think it would be exactly opposite of Skip's record (28-8). But even with input from Skip there were 4 games which he picked incorrectly but, because of the large spread, I got wrong. Still a pretty good winning percentage though (78%).
Breakdown by sport
NFL (8-6) NCAA FB (13-6) NBA (3-0)
Total winnings: $381.06
Not amazing but some of my bigger bets were the few losing ones, giving me nearly $400 on the year. Which I'm sure I dropped on 2 hands of blackjack at some point.
Overall the system worked pretty well, and I plan to make larger wagers in 2011. Here's to a profitable year and Skip sucks ass.

I'M BAAAAACK!!
To be totally honest, I just kind of forgot about this blog for a while until a buddy of mine said something last night. I miss it. I've also probably missed out on $1,000s of dollars of winnings over the last few months.
Now seems to be as good a time as ever to start back up, with the NBA and NHL playoffs starting soon. I will start monitoring Skip's awfulness again, and hopefully share my paydays with you.
Fuck Skip Bayless.
